Using the power of the internet, 10thGreen is bringing coaches and players from around the world, together on one site. As a community website we have a Forum, where players and coaches come together to talk golf, and a social networking component called MyGolfBook, where you can post a profile promoting your coaching.
To become an Online Coach, complete the following steps:
Step 1: Complete 10thGreen.com Registration - click here
Step 2: After confirming your account, complete Online Coach Application found in the Online Coaches section of the site.
Step 3: Sign and return the Online Coach Agreement (PDF Download)
Note: If you do not have a Premier or Business PayPal account, click here to create one.
Step 1) When a student uploads video to you, an email and 10thGreen.com private message is sent notifying you.
Step 2) Go to the "Online Coaches" page.
Step 3) Click the "Track My Lessons" button.
Step 4) Select the lesson marked, "Analyze"
Step 5) Complete the lesson.
Step 6) Click submit and you're done!
Generally, the lesson takes around 10 minutes to complete. Though obviously each analysis is different, so use your judgment when providing the player with quality feedback.
Remember: Online lessons must be sent back to the player within 48hrs from the time it was received in your account.
This is your decision. Just like any market, price can dictate demand, but so does quality and word of mouth. Take those to factors into account when looking to provide value to the player.
If you are unsure, consider charging the price of your regular rate for live lesson divided by the amount of time it takes you to complete a lesson.
Go to http://www.paypal.com and click the link that says Sign up. Choose Premier or Business as your account type and follow the instructions and fill in the information on the next pages. Once your account is created and you login, you may tie your account to a bank account for easy withdrawal of your payments by clicking the Edit Profile link and then the Bank Accounts link on the next page. If you have trouble with any part of your PayPal setup, please contact PayPal for support.
Whenever you are unable or don't want to be available for lessons, you need to make your account UNAVAILABLE. To do this, click "Edit Profile" button on the "Online Coaches" page. Then under the heading, "Coaching" check the box that says unavailable. The "buy online lesson" button on your public profile listing is hidden, so no new lessons can be submitted.
Then to reactivate your account, unclick the unavailable box and the "buy online lesson" reappears.
